Durum wheat semolina pasta is the great classic of Italian gastronomic culture. Our story began with her: protagonist of Italian cuisine, queen of your table.

Originally from Lombardy and Emilia, the Farfalle (literally “Butterflies”) take their name from the typical butterfly shape, with small narrow galls in the centre.
With Farfalle the recommended condiments are delicate dips: sauces based on butter, with peas and ham; white sauces with a not too strong flavour based on salmon and cream; sauces based on delicate and soft cheeses with the addition of saffron or curry.

They are also ideal for preparing colourful and imaginative pasta salads.
