Whole sweet almonds are briefly boiled in order to remove their brown papery skins. This highlights their crunchy but creamy texture and mild, buttery flavour, lending them to a variety of applications. It is a great source of vitamin E, calcium, protein, fiber, and healthy fats – it does not contain any cholesterol.

Skinless almonds are the preferred almonds for producing almond milk and almond flour. Blanched Almonds pair well with honey, pastry, cherries and berries, as well as green beans, watercress, asparagus, pumpkin and parsley. Try them to top ice cream and yogurt, muffins and pies or mixed into streusel, a real treat!
