Dijon mustard is a great classic in French cooking.

Dijon mustard consists mainly of mustard seeds, vinegar, sugar, water, which will create the most pure flavour.

The whole grain version is only partially blended, with some of the mustard seeds still visible, creating an overall coarse and slightly pasty texture.
It has a tart, piquant and pungent taste, perfect to add depth of flavour to sauces for sausage and barbecue and dressings for seafood and fish salad. Excellent also to brighten sandwiches and it’s an elegant condiment for cold plates and hot buffets.
